Are you interested in working with young people in your local community? Would you like to deliver an engaging, fun and informative youth programme? 

The role

​Youth Team Volunteers teach young people, from a wide breadth of backgrounds, vital first aid skills . Volunteers will help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills and self-discipline.

Training and time commitment

The training and support we will provide for you is as follows:

  • Welcome programme introducing you to the project and wider charity
  • Training in appropriate SJA policies 
  • St John Safeguarding training relevant to your role
  • Introduction to Safeguarding  
  • Youth team training
  • Out of pocket expenses.

Expected Time Commitment

Sessions between 1½-2 hours, ideally every 1-4 weeks during timetime.
