By entering this competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions:
1. The Sponsor
The sponsor of this competition is St John Ambulance, registered charity no. 1077265/1 and a company registered in England no. 3866129 (‘the Sponsor’). This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of St John Ambulance and their close relatives. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
3. How to enter
Visit @stjohnambulance on Twitter, @stjohn_ambulance on Instagram or @SJA on Facebook and follow the instructions on the competition post. The competition closes at 5pm on Tuesday 28th July 2021.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries are also limited to one entry per IP address and to one entry per device. All entries must be received before the competition closes to be eligible. The sponsor’s clock is the official time used for the competition. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
4. The prize
The prize is one 11th Edition First Aid Manual per winner. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. One manual will be issued per winner.

2x 11th Edition First Aid Manuals available via the St John Ambulance Twitter
5. Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries submitted before the competition closes. The draw will be made by the responsible person at St John Ambulance and witnessed by another individual other than the person making the draw. Winners will be notified within 24 hours of the competition closing via DM on Instagram and Twitter and comment on Facebook. The prize will be sent via email to the address supplied by the winner by St John Ambulance.
In the event the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable this may result in disqualification or forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternate winner by the Sponsor.
If selected as a winner, you will be required to provide your name, email address and country of residence.
6. Conditions of participation
Entrants must have a valid Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account and a valid email address. It is your responsibility to update the Sponsor of any changes to your social handle or email address. Decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to this competition.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the sponsor’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Sponsor.
The Sponsor is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party in connection with this competition.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
7. Entrants’ data
Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. Winners’ data will be used only for this purpose and in relation to this event.

8. Winner’s list
The list of winners will be made available on request 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: social.media@sja.org.uk. We may be asked to share the list as evidence of the draw with any relevant regulators.
