The key skills module is one that’s covered on both the Foundation and Advanced Pathways. It’s an introduction to essential skills that you’ll use both as an NHS Cadets, and in future healthcare roles. You’ll be given an overview to the pathway and St John’s values, as well as take part in games for you to get to know the other Cadets in your group. There are also sessions to develop your awareness of practical skills like moving and handling, GDPR, safeguarding and first aid which will be useful in future healthcare roles.
