Activities will trace the development of the NHS from 1948 to the present day and consider the role of the United Nations and the World Health Organisation in keeping the world healthy. You’ll evaluate the costs and benefits of universal and privatised healthcare systems and recognise the relationship between health and wealth on a global scale. This is an opportunity to focus on key developments, medical futures and the crossover between healthcare and society.
