What you'll get up to
As a First Aider at stadiums, it's your opportunity to help look after large and small groups of people at football and rugby matches. It's a chance to learn new skills and enhance skills you already possess with your First Aid at Work qualification.
You'll be part of a team that delivers first aid at stadiums across the country.
You'll get to shadow experienced first aiders, and learn and use the skills needed to look after the crowds.
You'll get a huge sense of satisfaction and pride delivering an essential service. It's great for you, great for your community, and great for our nation.
Time commitment
Volunteering as a Stadium First Aider requires only a small commitment of your time. We ask you to commit to a minimum of two events per month.
Qualification level required
For this role you will need a current First Aid at Work qualification achieved through St John Ambulance or other registered centres of an awarding organisation. Don't worry if you don't have this, as you can apply to take part in one of our first aid courses or consider pursuing the role of Event First Aider, which comes with training.
