Who should attend?
All healthcare professionals should be proficient in resuscitating patients. Most healthcare professionals will need to prove competency every 12 months.
Healthcare professionals who potentially need to resuscitate children must be trained in the specific HCP resuscitation protocols for children and infants. Healthcare professionals who care for children as part of their role but are unlikely to need to resuscitate them should learn standard child and infant CPR.
Both versions can be taught on this course with the healthcare professional protocols covered where appropriate.
Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). While we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.
